Okay, I really liked this volume! BEST VOLUME OF M&MB I'VE READ SO FAR!
(Hah. M&M. I love those things.) I'm going to refer to this story as M&M! Foooooooor-EVAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Anyway, this volume . . . was seriously . . .
CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE. With like 5 trillon U's for emphasis.
I really liked this volume. The extra story at the end included!
Yeah. If you haven't read up to Volume 7 or farther yet, please . . . don't yell at me for the spoilers.
Because . . .
WARNING: THIS. REVIEW. CONTAINS. SPOILERS!!!
Huge ones. Ones that might blow your brain apart if you don't know about them yet! If they do . . . SPOIL YOU.
So please. Heed my BOLDED AND ALL-CAPPED warning and turn back noooow, before it's too laaaaaate!
Whoooooooooo~ (*imitates creepy ghost noises for emphasis and dramatic effect.)
Anyway. This really was a good volume. Really, really, really, really, really CUTE. It makes the series worth reading and I seriously need to know what happens in volume 8. This is how much this volume affected me!
I mean in volume 6, I was all "Aw, whatever. The 7th book will come along whenever it wants. I'll wait patiently."
Now I'm roaring and squealing and saying, "VOLUME 8 CAN'T WAIT! It needs to come to my door and fall dramatically in my arms RIGHT
With 5 trillion O's for emphasis.
I'm still kind of suspicious about how the characters of this story are JUST. LIKE. OURAN! (Only the characters. The plot is very different.)
I mean the main girl even has SHORT HAIR. And Masashi (M&M's version of Tamaki) has light hair and is a serious romantic!
The story is different though. I . . . LOVE THE STORY.
Basically in this volume, something romantic FINALLY happens between Masashi and Sakura. A-BOUT-TIME!!!
PLEASE. TURN BACK NOW BEFORE YOU READ THE SPOILER FOLLOWING THIS BOLDED AND ALL-CAPPED SPOILER WARNING
K-K-K-K-K-K-K-Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-----sssssssssssssssssssssssssss!! (*rolls around the floor squealing like crazy monkey*)
It's sort of a forced kiss. Like a "this-is-a-dramatic-moment-and-your-face-is-close-enough-to-mine-so-I'll-yank-your-shirt-and-SMOOCH!" kiss.
That really did happen to them, y'know.
Speaking of kisses . . . what's so special about them? I mean why do you have to KISS?
I mean . . . why not show your affection by placing your hands flat against their's? Like a mime does?
Or maybe hugging. Hugging works . . . but friends do, too.
BUT I'VE NEVER SEEN FRIENDS DO THE MIME THING. You know, like when you're behind a window and you see this gigantic cake that looks so freakishly delectable so you place your hands against the window.
Why kissing? WHY?!?!?! (Coming from a young, curious, romantically-naive 15-year-old girl who WANTS TO KNOW MOOOOORE!)
Anyway yeah. I loved this volume. I loved the suspense. The fluttery fluttery-ness in my stomach! GAAAAAAAH!
This book has romance. THE ROMANCE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR, MWAH HAHAHAHAHA!!!
So yeah. That's pretty much the big thing.
Oh and the special story at the end was really original. SUPER, SUPER, SUPER original. I've never read a story like that!
The author said that she wrote that part a long time ago and that it was embarrassing because she didn't get to edit or fix it, but I thought it was awesome, just the way it was!
When the girl was reading books, but she always bookmarked the book in the middle and stopped reading. She left the books unfinished.
Because she didn't want to know the ending. She was afraid of a bad ending, or an ending she didn't like.
But the guy who was talking to that girl said, "If you don't find out the ending, you'll always be scared, right?"
THAT totally emphasizes the quote "Find out the answer to your questions is so much better and less regretful than living with "what if", just because you were afraid of what answer you'd get."
I toooootally agree. If you're asking for an ice cream cone that you really, really want but you're afraid of hearing "No", and you end up NOT asking because of that, you'll end up thinking "I wonder what would have happened if I DID ask. I could have gotten a yes, and I would have gotten the ice cream I wanted, then I'd live happily ever after!"
Not knowing things is a weakness in every problem.
When you've lost something, your weakness is the fact that you don't know where it is, right?
This volume was EXCELLENT. Now I seriously need to read volume 8!
I'll get it into my hands! SOMEHOW!
